PUMA kick off their partnership with Serie A giants AC Milan by launching the club's new home shirt for the upcoming 2018/19 campaign. Breathing new life into those iconic red and black stripes, it's a strong start for the red half of the San Siro.
Opting for a classic execution PUMA have delivered a smart aesthetic. After 20 years of adidas just the change of logo is enough to give the 2018/19 home shirt a fresh vibe and a feel of a new chapter for the club to push on and re-establish themselves amongst Europe's elite.
Simple but strong red and black stripes, clean white sponsor and a vintage inspired button-up collar, as seen on the club’s kits from the early part of the 20th Century. The legendary ‘Diavolo Rossonero’ (The Red & Black Devil) appears on the back of the neck, a nod to the famous quote by club founder Herbert Kilpin: "We're going to be a team of devils. We'll be red like the flames that will animate our souls and black like the fear our opponents will feel."
