Launching themselves into Dark Space ahead of the 2016/17 campaign, adidas have revealed their latest all black boot collection as the PURECONTROL and PURECHAOS sneak into the new season under a cover of darkness.
Transformed into sleek blackout designs, the ACE 16+ PURECONTROL and X 16+ PURECHAOS are wrapped up in stealth-like cloaks to offer a sense of versatility to the often bold collection of colourways. Available in limited numbers there's sure to be a scramble to bag a pair and although they're not penciled in to appear on the feet of contracted adidas professionals, there's no doubting they'll have a strong presence from grass roots right up to the elite.
For those players who were sceptical about the whole adidas Football Revolution, this is the game changer. These are the boots that are gonna win you over, trust us. The only splash of colour on the ACE series is the "Solar Yellow" pull tag at the top of the boot, whereas the X silo is submerged in pitch black magic. No Messi silo in this pack by the way, just X and ACE here. Ironic seeing as though he is pretty much out of this world.
Tech wise you're looking at no changes. All your usual features just much, much darker. The Purecut Sock System is used in the X 16+ PURECHAOS to provide the ultimate fit and the Non Stop Grip (NSG) technology in the ACE 16+ PURECONTROL to deliver that clean striking area. X 16.1 and ACE 16.1 editions of the Dark Space Park have also landed safely, if you still like a bit of lace on your boot.
